Defence Colony is a neighbourhood in South East Delhi. It is centrally located and connected to all major parts of the City. DCWA was established in 1963 to represent the residents, manage civic amenities and oversee community facilities like Def Col Club. The Defence Colony (WA) Club was established in 1976 as Def Col Ex-Servicemen Institute but was renamed Club in 1980, and functions under Defence Colony Welfare Association.
At present the Club is run by a duly elected Management Committee, the Administrative Council Members. Nestled in the heart of Delhi amongst greenery, it is a centre for social experiences and provides a place for members to meet and connect with families and friends.
